Alexandra Pakhmutova: Concerto For Trumpet And Orchestra

Female composer Alexandra Pakhmutova , who is one of the best known figures in Soviet and later Russian popular music since she first achieved fame in her homeland in the 1960s, has composed this piece for Trumpet and Orchestra. Rarely performed, Concerto For Trumpet and Orchestra is not technically difficult and therefore gives a lot of room for expression. It is an exciting piece for the audience to listen to.
