The hugely successful Bastien series presents a set of studies that are perfect for any early Piano student. Thirty-five varied study pieces have been assembled to give the Piano student a rich source of music to add variety to practice hours, with each challenging a different discipline of Piano technique. The simple melodies will challenge your left and right hand coordination, playing melodies and basic chords. The pieces gradually build in difficulty to include contrary motion, scale-based accompaniments and syncopations.
The book is complete with a CD that features two tracks for each piece, one at a slower rehearsal tempo and another at the 'goal' tempo.
