This piece by Doug Hartzell was written as a solo vehicle for the lower range instruments, which are often neglected in comparison with the smaller, more popular instruments of the band.

An evocative and uplifting piece, the ponderous bass notes reflect and characterise the movements and actions of this proud elephant. Set for Solo Tuba or other bass instrument (parts for bass clarinet and Baritone Saxophone are also included) with Piano accompaniment.
