The Drum Along Drum Circle Video

Presenting a 30-person drum circle with Carla Campbell, Sean Feder, Warren Jones, and Shawn King playing djembes, ashikos, congas, bongos, frame drums, doumbeks, tamborines, djun djuns, bass drums, shakes, bells, woodblocks, and more!

The four feature players lead the different drumming parts of the group rhythms. Their entrances into the drum circle are staggered so you have time to look at and listen to each of the parts in an action-packed big-group environment. Rhythms played are:

Doudoumba

Fanga

Rhumba

Kakilambe

Heartbeat

Shiko

Rhythms are played in their entirety, averaging ten minutes each. Each rhythm has easy-to-read on-screen box notation.
