This wonderfully entertaining Christmas musical explores the meaning of Christmas over 2000 years on from the birth of Jesus. What it reveals is that the events of so long ago can still have an impact on a children living today. The story begins with a family party and ends with a problem solved on Christmas day. Poignant yet educational, the lesson about the imortance of giving rather than receiving is delightfully told in this sparkling musical. The show has been designed to be as trouble-free as possible for the director and the stage set, props and costumes can be as simple or elaborate as required. There are eleven speaking parts and any number of children can form a choir (extended family). The accompanying CD has demo tracks and excellent full instrumental backing tracks for all songs. Traditional carols can be incorporated into the story, if required.
