The course material on this DVD is comparable to your first 4 lessons with a professional guitar teacher.

Basics of electric guitar playing are explained as well as the first and easy-to-play songs. Lecture 1 commensurates exercises for 1 week.

You learn:

• Lecture 1: Construction of a guitar, name of the strings, tones on E and A-string, first melodies, handling of the guitar, correct fingering and tuning of the guitar
• Lecture 2: Basics of strumming, three different playing-techniques, interactive guitar duo
• Lecture 3: Ghost-taps, rythms, changing finger positions, differentiation in playing-techniques, new rythm-patterns, interactice jam-sessions with the teacher
• Lecture 4: Rythm-patterns (1/8 level), new harmonies, playing-techniques using the thumb, interactive jam-sessions
