A dramatic and deeply chromatic work for the Organ based upon the sketches of the late composer William Albright. Bolcom has incorporated many of Albright's original sketches and ideas into this unnerving work that exploits the endless textural and sonic potential of the Organ to the full. The writing is complex and challenging, forming a remarkable unison between the characterful ideas of one composer, and the structural vision of another.
